Product Features

DURALITE net floats are the highest quality net floats we could find. Made of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), which offers high tensile strength, durability, resistance to pressure, sunlight and abrasion, buoyancy, and a much longer life expectancy than PVC floats or synthetic rubber floats.

⇒Materials

The floats are made mainly from EVA blended with some engineering polymers and chemicals to get increased strength and softness and elasticity. At Duralite Industries , a continuous process of research and development is going on to improve the product quality.

⇒Softness

The floats are very light and strong. So, they are durable. At the same time the floats are very soft. The hardness at room temperature is less than 30 shore A. The hardness of the floats is always below 50 even at temperatures below minus 20 degree centigrade. So, it is very safe while operation and can easily pass through the power block and other mechanical equipments on the ship.

⇒Weather Resistance

The floats are very strong at extreme weather conditions that is very hot weather as well as at very cold weathers. The sunshine and UV rays do not affect the strength of the material.

⇒Water absorbency

The EVA foam material does not absorb water at all even if there is a cut or even if anything is pierced in it. So, there is no possibility of getting the floats punctured and sinking the nets
